Location uses Google Maps autocomplete — type a venue name and pick from the suggestions. The timezone auto-detects from your browser.
Format
Singles
Doubles
Which to choose?
Singles — each player plays alone. Simplest to organize.
Doubles — players choose how to pair up during sign-up: auto-pair, wait for their partner, or select someone already registered. You can also manually pair/unpair players from the dashboard.
Structure
Round Robin + Knockout
Round Robin Only
Knockout Only
Which to choose?
Round Robin + Knockout — Everyone plays in groups first, then top players advance to elimination bracket. Best for competitive events.
Round Robin Only — Everyone plays everyone in their group. Winner decided by points. Best for social/fun events.
Knockout Only — Single elimination from the start. Fast, but one loss and you're out.
How to start
Once all players have signed up, tap "Start Tournament" on the Players tab. The system handles the rest — creates groups or brackets, schedules matches, and fills courts automatically. For Round Robin + Knockout, the bracket is auto-generated when the last group match finishes.

Short Set (first to 4)
Full Set
Tiebreak Only
Which to choose?
Short Set (first to 4) — ~20 min per match. Best for social events with many players and limited time.
Full Set — Standard tennis set (first to 6, tiebreak at 6-6). ~40 min per match.
Tiebreak Only — First to 7 points (or 10). ~10 min per match. Maximum matches in minimum time.
Match Format
1 Set
Best of 3 Sets
Which to choose?
1 Set — Each match is a single set. Faster, more matches in less time. Standard for social events and round robin group stages.
Best of 3 Sets — First to win 2 sets takes the match. More competitive and dramatic. Common for knockout rounds and club championships.

Setting recommendations
Courts — Enter the actual number of courts you have. The system uses this to assign matches so no court sits empty.
Group Size — 4 is ideal (6 matches per group, ~1.5 hrs with short sets). 3 = very fast, 5-6 = longer but more matches for everyone.
Advance to Knockout — Top 2 is standard. Top 1 = only group winners advance (more cutthroat).
Visibility
Public
Private (invite code)
Which to choose?
Public — Anyone with the link can view and sign up. Share on WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.
Private — A 6-character invite code is auto-generated. Only people with the code can view or sign up. The code is shown on your dashboard after creation.
How private events work
When you share the link, the invite code is included in the URL (e.g. ?code=AB3X9K). Players who open the link go straight in. If they open without the code, they'll see a lock screen asking for it. You can also just tell them the code separately.

Share the Link
After creating the event, copy the link and share it with your players. They can sign up from their phone — no app or account needed.

Requiring email or phone
When creating the event, check the "Require from Players" boxes to make email and/or phone mandatory during sign-up. You can view players' contact details in the Players tab on your dashboard.
Doubles partner options
For doubles events, players see a partner dropdown with three choices:
Auto-pair me — the system pairs them with someone (strongest with weakest for balance).
My partner will sign up later — they stay unpaired until their partner signs up and selects them.
Select a player — pick an existing unpaired player to pair with immediately.
You'll see status tags next to each player: partner confirmed, waiting for partner, or auto-pair. You can also manually pair or unpair players from the Players tab.
Tip: You can also add players manually
Go to the Players tab and tap "+ Add Player" to register someone yourself.
4
Start the Tournament
Once all players have signed up, tap "Start Tournament" on the Players tab. The system automatically:
  • Splits players into balanced groups (by skill level)
  • Creates all round-robin matches
  • Assigns first round to courts
  • For knockout-only events, generates the bracket directly
Auto-Generated Groups (16 players, groups of 4)
Group A
David L. 4.0
Sarah K. 3.0
Mike T. 3.5
Lisa W. 3.5
Group B
James R. 4.0
Amy C. 3.0
Tom H. 3.5
Nina P. 3.5
Snake draft: strongest players spread across groups so no group is stacked.
5
Assign Courts & Play
Courts are assigned automatically. When you generate groups, the first round fills the courts immediately. After each score, the freed court gets the next match. No manual work needed.

How court assignment works
Fully automatic: When you submit a score, the court frees up and the next scheduled match is assigned instantly. The system ensures no player is on two courts at once. A "Fill Courts" button is available as a manual fallback if needed.
6
Enter Scores
When a match finishes, tap Enter Score on the court card (or find the match in the Matches tab). Enter the score and the system auto-updates standings.
